Monitoring
We have isolated and restored the issue. The root cause is determined to be customer-introduced javascript files that did not comply with ECMA standards. The dependency "caniuse-lite" was updated to version 1.0.30001561 on 2023-11-04T06:47:29.325Z, which surfaced the issues in the build output. The short-term/immediate workaround is to pin the version of "caniuse-lite", and the longer-term resolution will be for the customers to ensure the custom javascript files adhere to the ECMA best practices. It will be the customer's responsibility to follow the instructions and implement the solution. We will conduct a thorough RCA and provide a detailed post-mortem in the upcoming days. The proposed fix was unsuccessful and another avenue will be explored. We recommend that Digital builds and deployments on NPEs are paused until a fix has been implemented. We will provide another update when we have something substantial to report.
